Course Objectives

By the end of this course, students will:

  1. Understand the business climate for IT security.
  2. Be exposed to IT security threats and vulnerabilities currently effecting companies.
  3. Be able to chose proper safeguards for IT threats.

Computer Security Management

Credit Hours: 3

Description: Survey of security considerations as they apply to the management of business processes and information. Topics include planning, policies, protocols of security practices, access models and frameworks, incident response plans, asset protection and recovery.
