Innovative Delivery of Education Alliance - IDEA
The IDEA alliance is on hiatus for the remainder of 2010 due to budget cutbacks. Homeland security courses are offered locally at member institutions. Browse the Alliance Catalog and contact the individual universities about when courses will be offered.
The state of Illinois needs professionals with education and training in homeland security, disaster preparedness, and emergency management.
If you are enrolled at an Alliance university, you now have the opportunity to gain homeland security skills and disaster preparedness training from expert faculty members across the state.
Students admitted to one university may enroll in any Illinois IDEA approved course without transferring or applying to another university. You will pay the same tuition and fees as you would for a course at your home university. All Alliance courses are delivered online.
IDEA will not offer courses during 2010-11. Many of the courses in our catalog may be available at individual universities. Browse the IDEA catalog and click on titles for course descriptions. Contact the teaching institution for more information.
